Our vision for Community & Commerce

The K-Town Business Centre (KTBC) is The Will Group’s flagship advanced manufacturing and logistics campus on Chicago’s West Side, reflecting its long-term commitment to domestic manufacturing, economic development, and infrastructure innovation. Completed through a $50 million investment, the 135,000-square-foot facility transformed a 3.3-acre property that had been off Chicago’s tax rolls for nearly two decades into a modern industrial campus that is fully operational and open for business.

Today, KTBC serves as a hub for contract manufacturing, EV charging infrastructure, smart LED lighting, capacitor banks, electrical distribution equipment, MRO warehousing, value-added assembly, kitting, and supply chain logistics. The facility was purpose-built to support utility, infrastructure, and clean energy projects while providing customers with a centralized location for manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, and distribution services.

KTBC also served as the primary assembly and logistics hub for Chicago’s $160 million Smart Lighting Program—the nation’s largest municipal streetlight modernization initiative. More than half of the materials used for the citywide LED conversion were assembled at the facility, helping replace outdated high-pressure sodium fixtures with energy-efficient LED technology. The program reduced the City’s streetlight electricity costs by more than 50 percent while demonstrating KTBC’s ability to deliver complex, large-scale infrastructure programs through advanced manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations.

Today, KTBC stands as a long-term investment in Chicago’s West Side, strengthening domestic manufacturing, enhancing supply chain resiliency, and providing the capacity needed to support critical infrastructure and clean energy projects throughout Illinois and beyond.
