Overview:
The project focused on reconstructing parking lots and sidewalks on the north side of the facility located at 15009 Catlin-Tilton Road. Improvements were designed to upgrade site circulation, improve pedestrian access, and enhance overall usability for staff and visitors.

What TWG Delivered:
– Topographic Survey: Conducted detailed site survey to support design and planning.
– Site & Grading Design: Developed grading plans to improve drainage and site performance.
– Parking & Roadway Design: Designed interior roadways, parking areas, and sidewalks.
– Plans & Specifications: Prepared complete construction documents for project execution.
– Site Improvements: Included striping, signage, seeding, and other site appurtenances.

Results:
TWG Engineering successfully delivered a redesigned parking and pedestrian layout that improved accessibility, safety, and overall site functionality. The project was completed in 2022.

City of Elgin – Light Audit Project

Engineering

In November 2018, the City of Elgin, IL announced a plan to upgrade the cities over 6,500 existing streetlights to LED fixtures. TWG launched the City of Elgin Light Audit Project. TWG provided manpower and our proprietary TWG Application to capture important data regarding each of the city’s fixtures. This audit was vital in preparation for the city’s LED upgrade project.
